Location: This is a fully on-site opportunity in Cedar Grove, NJ, offering a collaborative environment where attorneys can work closely with colleagues and contribute directly to the team.

Note: Must have active New Jersey or New York bar licenses and 1+ year of litigation experience.

Job Description

  • Handle complex, high-stakes mass tort litigation from investigation through resolution.
  • Conduct fact and expert witness depositions and help develop compelling case strategies.
  • Research, draft, and prepare high-quality legal documents, motions, correspondence, and case materials.
  • Partner with medical, technical, industry, and other outside experts to strengthen litigation strategy.
  • Manage case details, deadlines, discovery, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop long-term litigation strategies designed to protect client interests.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and staff in a collegial, client-focused environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, experts, and other case stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of litigation experience.
  • Active New Jersey and New York bar licenses.
  • Experience conducting fact and expert witness depositions.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and case management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced litigation practice.
  • Judicial clerkship experience is preferred.
