Orthodontic Assistant

Bailey Orthodontics is looking for a friendly, motivated, and dependable Orthodontic Assistant to join our team!

We are seeking a team member who enjoys working with patients, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and is eager to contribute to a positive and welcoming orthodontic experience.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare treatment areas and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
• Sterilize instruments and follow all infection-control protocols
• Assist with orthodontic procedures and adjustments
• Change wires and orthodontic colors (o-ties) on braces
• Take dental X-rays and digital scans
• Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments
• Educate and encourage patients on proper orthodontic care and oral hygiene
• Provide a welcoming, professional, and positive patient experience
• Work closely with the orthodontic team to keep appointments running efficiently

Minimum Requirements

• Current CPR certification
• Current X-Ray certification
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional, dependable, and positive attitude
• Ability to work well as part of a team

Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate has previous experience in the dental field, preferably in orthodontics. We are looking for someone who is personable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with children and adults, and genuinely enjoys helping patients.

Orthodontic experience is a plus, but a strong dental background and a willingness to learn are highly valued.
