Production Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to perform cable and wire assembly, soldering, crimping, molding, testing, and inspection while following engineering drawings and work instructions.
Pay rate: $20 - $22
Responsibilities
- Cable cutting and cable preparation
- Connector-end and flying-lead/strip-end preparation
- Crimp terminal lugs and connector ends
- Coax cable assembly
- Stuffing and epoxy application
- Epoxy mold, pre-mold, and overmold operations
- Shrink tubing and solder splicing
- Soldering to IPC J-STD-001 standards
- Braid/shield preparation and machine braiding
- Mold setup and hardware installation
- Testing and in-process inspection
- Final visual inspection
- Read and interpret drawings, routers, and work instructions
- Communicate effectively and follow instructions in English
- Maintain quality, safety, and production standards
Qualifications
- Cable/wire assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Soldering and crimping experience preferred
- Ability to read drawings and routers
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good communication and English skills
- Ability to use hand tools and perform repetitive assembly tasks
