Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant with an X-ray license plays a vital role in supporting our practice by having strong communication and organizational skills and provide exceptional patient care as well as having the ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

This position requires meticulous attention to sterilization, infection control, patient care and operational flow.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental procedures
• Take digital x-rays (FMX, PAs, BWs )
• Assist dentist chair side during treatments
• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies
• Ensure proper maintenance of dental equipment and instruments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Assist front desk with clerical duties
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level to 3+ years experience in dental assisting. Schedule

Mon: 8:45-5:30 with 1 hour lunch

Tues: 8:45-2:00

Wed: 12:45-6:30

Thur: 12:45-6:30

Sat: 8:45-1:00 (one Sat/month)
