Embroidery Supervisor / Operator

Minnesota Imprints is a growing custom apparel and promotional products company looking for an experienced Embroidery Supervisor / Operator to take ownership of our embroidery department.

We are looking for someone who knows embroidery production, takes pride in quality, and can help keep the department organized, efficient, and running smoothly. This person will play a key role in managing day-to-day embroidery production while also operating equipment and helping us continue to grow our capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Operate and oversee commercial embroidery machines
• Set up jobs, hoop garments, load designs, and monitor production
• Manage the day-to-day workflow and production schedule for the embroidery department
• Ensure orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time
• Perform quality control throughout the production process
• Troubleshoot machine issues and make basic adjustments and repairs when necessary
• Help manage thread, backing, needles, supplies, and inventory
• Keep the embroidery department clean, organized, and operating efficiently
• Communicate with management, sales, and production staff regarding job status and priorities
• Help train and oversee additional embroidery team members as the department grows
• Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency, quality, and production output

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience operating commercial embroidery equipment
• Experience with multi-head embroidery machines preferred
• Strong understanding of embroidery production, including hooping, backing, stabilizers, thread selection, and garment handling
• Ability to troubleshoot common embroidery and machine issues
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities in a fast-paced production environment
• Leadership experience or the ability and desire to take ownership of a department
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
