Location: Stockton, CA
Pay: $16.90 per hour
Schedule: AM Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM PM Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Graveyard Shift:11:30 PM - 8:00 AM

Epic Personnel Partners is hiring a Logistics Dispatcher / Transportation Coordinator for a busy, 24/7 food distribution center in Stockton, CA. This position works closely with vendors, carriers, customers, and internal warehouse teams to coordinate shipments, monitor deliveries, and provide timely transportation updates.


Logistics experience is preferred, but candidates with strong computer skills, attention to detail, and experience in dispatching, customer service, data entry, scheduling, or administrative support are encouraged to apply.


What You’ll Do

  • Track inbound and outbound shipments
  • Communicate shipment status, delays, and estimated arrival times
  • Coordinate with vendors, carriers, customers, and warehouse departments
  • Assign vendors or carriers based on transportation needs
  • Review delivery schedules and follow up on pending shipments
  • Help resolve transportation delays and service issues
  • Enter and update accurate information in transportation systems
  • Prepare and review reports using Microsoft Excel
  • Identify opportunities to improve transportation efficiency
  • Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, and management


What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable, organized, and comfortable following up on time-sensitive issues
  • Transportation, logistics, dispatching, brokerage, traffic management, warehouse office, or 3PL experience is a plus
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays when required


Excel Assessment Requirement

Selected applicants must complete a brief Excel assessment before their resume can be presented to the hiring team. The assessment helps confirm that candidates are comfortable with the Excel functions used in the position.
