FOH Team Lead Membership Sales Specialist

About the Role

This is a Front of House Team Lead role with an added specialization: beyond the full front-of-house job, this team member helps grow and retain membership through genuine, relationship-first selling and outreach — and earns a pay boost plus commission for it. Perfect for a warm, persistent communicator who loves helping people find the right fit.

Front of House Responsibilities (Core Role)

• Handle the check-in process at the front desk and answer incoming calls.
• Explain all membership offerings and ways to play at The Picklr.
• Run all core programs at the club.
• Use club software (PlayByPoint, Aircall, HubSpot, Wingfield, SWISH, etc.).
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with club cleaning and maintenance.
• Complete assigned trainings on time.

Plus — Specialization Responsibilities

• Call trial members to gather feedback on their experience.
• Evaluate player activity and guide members toward the right membership.
• Build a list of "outside the 4 walls" activations for the club to attend.
• Do outreach to local businesses for private events.
• Call canceled members for feedback and to win them back.

Qualifications

• Able to clearly explain memberships and programming and communicate well with the team.
• Can organize, create, and run program calendars and schedules.
• Handles multiple tasks and stays composed during busy shifts.
• Proficient with basic computer and club software; able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Preferred: 1–2 years sales/customer-service experience and pickleball knowledge.
• Relationship-driven approach to sales — not transactional.
• Persistent and empathetic; can re-engage disengaged or canceled members.
• Strong listener who matches members to the right membership.
• Resilient and emotionally mature; handles a "no" well.
• Motivated by helping people find the right fit, not just hitting a number.
• Full availability on at least two of the three weekend days (Fri–Sun).

Required Certifications

First Aid, AED, and CPR certification.
