Position: Outpatient Surgical Center Manager

We are seeking a highly organized, hands-on, and proactive individual to oversee daily operations across our outpatient surgical centers. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting locations in Brooklyn and the Bronx, Monday through Friday.

This position requires a dynamic professional who can effectively balance both administrative oversight and clinical support functions to ensure seamless operations, high-quality patient care, and an efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Administrative Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day center operations, ensuring efficiency, organization, and compliance with established protocols

  • Manage front desk functions including patient check-in/check-out, registration accuracy, and overall patient experience

  • Coordinate scheduling workflows, procedure calendars, and provider availability to optimize utilization

  • Monitor and maintain supply inventory, including ordering, stocking, and vendor coordination

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and documentation requirements

  • Assist with reporting, tracking key performance metrics, and communicating updates to leadership

Clinical Support & Patient Flow:

  • Support clinical staff and providers to ensure smooth patient flow from intake through discharge

  • Assist with room turnover coordination and maintaining readiness of procedure rooms

  • Help facilitate pre-op and post-op processes, ensuring all required documentation and preparations are completed

  • Act as a liaison between clinical and administrative teams to minimize delays and improve efficiency

  • Ensure adherence to patient safety protocols and high standards of care

Staffing & Team Coordination:

  • Assist with staff scheduling, coverage coordination, and daily workflow adjustments

  • Provide on-the-ground support to both clinical and administrative staff as needed

  • Foster clear communication between front desk, clinical teams, and backend operations

  • Help onboard and train new staff on workflows and operational procedures

Communication & Coordination:

  • Serve as a key point of contact between on-site teams and backend operations, including billing, credentialing, and leadership

  • Ensure timely and accurate communication across all departments

  • Troubleshoot operational issues in real time and implement effective solutions

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and leadership skills

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment

  • Prior experience in an outpatient, surgical center, or medical office setting preferred

  • Familiarity with clinical workflows, compliance standards, and patient care processes is a plus

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable taking initiative in both clinical and administrative settings to ensure a high-functioning and patient-centered environment.
