Childcare Teacher

Seeking a hardworking, caring, enthusiastic teacher for a preschool / before and after school program for a small childcare center. Create crafts, play games and teach fun STEM projects with children from 3-10 years old.

• Always ensure the safety and well-being of each child
• Be warm and nurturing with children
• Plan and teach fun interactive activities for students
• Assist teachers in implementing curriculum and planning daily activities that are developmentally appropriate for young children.
• Establish a professional level of rapport with each family while providing quality care and friendly service.
• Be a positive role model for all care giving staff and children
• Maintain an environment that is clean, organized, and safe for

all children.

• Support the transitions of the day, including bathroom time, indoor/outdoor transitions, helping children change clothes, etc.
• Become familiar with providing positive guidance and discipline and learning strategies to encourage appropriate behavior per school policy.
• Perform assigned "housekeeping" tasks such as clean-up and straightening common supply areas in the classroom and around the school.

CPR and First Aid Certification
