Transport residents to and from medical appointments, planned outings, etc. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Respects and upholds all residents' personal and property rights whenever carrying out duties, including knocking before entering a resident's room.Complies with all company and departmental policies and procedures.Assists and/or conducts assigned group or one-to-one activity programs according to calendar.Moves and arranges equipment/supplies to assure that activity areas are ready for scheduled activity.Assists residents move to and from activity programs as needed.Is responsible for returning all activity department materials to their proper place in a timely manner and maintaining a tidy, pleasant atmosphere in activity room.Assists Activity Director in developing schedule for activities, distributes monthly activity calendars to residents and posts changes to calendar according to state and federal regulations.Follows resident care plan in providing daily activities for residents.Transport residents to and from medical appointments, planned outings, etc. Qualifications1-2 years' experience in related position, in healthcare environment preferredAptitude for and/or some training in arts and crafts requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent desirableCommitment to the company mission to consistently deliver high quality, person-centered care with dignity, respect, compassion and integrity, and to enrich every life we touch.
