Techno-functional Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll & Absence Management Consultant
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
\tImplementation Support
\tPartner with Payroll, HR and IT stakeholders to gather, validate, document and review functional and technical requirements related to Payroll and Absence Management.
\tParticipate in the design, configuration, testing cycles and deployment of Oracle Fusion Payroll and Absence Management.
\tSupport configuration and setup of Oracle Fusion Payroll and Absence Management modules, including payroll elements, balances, fast formulas, absence plans, accrual rules and other key system components.
\tAssist with data conversion and reconciliation activities.
\tAssist with testing and validation activities, including unit, system integration (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT) and parallel testing runs and reconciliation prior to go-live.
\tParticipate in developing integrations between Oracle Cloud and third-party systems (e.g., time and attendance, benefits, and finance).
\tProvide knowledge transfer, end-user support, and documentation to the Payroll Department.
\tTechnical/Functional Expertise
\tDevelop and maintain reports and analytics using OTBI, BI Publisher, and HCM Extracts.
\tTroubleshoot configuration, data, or interface issues in partnership with IT and Oracle Support by performing root cause analysis and recommending solutions.
\tParticipate in testing and support defect resolution utilizing Jira.
\tSupport data migration and conversion activities, including validation and audit of employee and payroll data.
\tSupport ongoing change management activities
\tCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation, including configuration guides, user manuals, and process flows.
\tAssist with any training and support to end users and stakeholders on Oracle Fusion Payroll and Absence Management functionality.
\tAssist with developing test cases for testing to validate configurations.
\tRecommend process improvements and configuration optimizations to enhance efficiency and compliance.
\tProvide Post Go Live support to resolve issues during the transition to Oracle Fusion.

\tQualifications:
\tEducation:
\t-Bachelor's degree in information systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
\t5+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud with hands-on expertise in Payroll and Absence Management modules.
\tStrong understanding of payroll processing, taxation, and compliance requirements.
\tExperience with fast formulas, costing, and legislative data group configurations.
\tKnowledge of time and labor integration and absence accrual processing.
\tFamiliarity with Oracle HCM Extracts, APIs, and integration frameworks.
\tExperience in at least one full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementation preferred.

\tPreferred Qualifications:
\tOracle Cloud HCM Certification (Payroll or Absence Management).
\tPrior experience assisting a Payroll department through an HCM transition or system upgrade.
\tProficiency in Oracle reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher).
