Community Living Support (CLS) Staff

Location: Nicholasville, KY
Schedule: After-school hours and occasional weekends
Available Hours: Up to 37 hours per week

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Community Living Support (CLS) staff member to provide support during after-school hours and, as needed, on weekends in Nicholasville, Kentucky.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and supervision.
  • Assist with daily living and community activities.
  • Encourage independence, social engagement, and participation in activities.
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the individual, family, and care team.
  • Complete required documentation and follow established support plans.
Schedule & Hours
  • Primarily after-school hours
  • Weekend availability may be required
  • Up to 37 hours per week available
  • Flexible scheduling based on the individual's needs
Ideal Candidate
  • Reliable, patient, and compassionate
  • Comfortable working with individuals who need community and daily-living support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a support team
  • Previous caregiving, direct support, or CLS experience is a plus

Pay is $18 an hour. Contract pay

Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Experience: At least one year of experience in human services, healthcare, or a related caregiving field is preferred, but not required.

  • Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Mobility: Valid Driver’s License and active auto insurance.

  • Screening: Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with participants, families, and administrative staff.
