Quick Service Lube Technician
Colonial Chevrolet – Acton, Massachusetts

Colonial Chevrolet in Acton is looking for a dependable and motivated Quick Service Lube Technician to join our growing service team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning an automotive career or an experienced technician looking to work in a busy, professional dealership.

Pay Range: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Duties:

• Perform oil and filter changes
• Rotate, balance, repair, and replace tires
• Check and adjust tire pressures
• Inspect and replace engine and cabin air filters
• Check and top off vehicle fluids
• Test and replace batteries
• Replace windshield wipers and exterior bulbs
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections
• Identify and report additional maintenance or safety concerns
• Reset maintenance reminders and tire-pressure monitoring systems
• Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized
• Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures
• Assist other technicians and service department employees when needed

Job Requirements:

• Previous automotive or quick-service experience is preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely operate customer vehicles
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the shift
• Must have basic tools or be willing to obtain them
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with others
• Ability to follow instructions and complete work efficiently
• Commitment to providing high-quality service
• Must be able to pass any required pre-employment screening
