Hospital Liaison

Vertus HealthCare, a leading Medicare Certified home health agency in Boynton Beach, Florida, is seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to join our team as a Hospital Liaison. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for driving business growth initiatives, managing high-impact sales strategies, and building relationships with healthcare providers to increase patient referrals and promote our organization's offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, discharge planners, and case managers to promote our homecare services for Medicare and Personal Care Services.

• Conduct in-services, presentations, educational events, and host relevant events to introduce our home health care services to physicians, patients, their families, facility staff, and other referral sources.

• Coordinate and complete on-site discharge planning when needed.

• Perform an initial territory market analysis and develop business development plans quarterly/annually.

• Develop and establish new business referral sources consistently.

• Maintain current relationships with referral sources and meet regularly with the clinical team.

• Identify and implement market strategies with sales and clinical teams resulting in continued census growth.

• Stay up-to-date with Medicare and state-specific home health care regulations.

Requirements:

• Two years of home health care or related industry sales experience generally required.

• Excellent selling, organization, problem-solving skills, and the ability to appropriately represent the Company service capabilities to the targeted referral source audience is required.

• Previous healthcare sales experience or experience as a clinical liaison preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills required.

• Microsoft Office proficiency required.

• Ability to travel within assigned territory and to sales meetings as required.
