Branch Associate
Job Description
We are looking for motivated individuals with a passion for construction and professional growth. At Locke Supply, High Character is our foundation. As a Construction Associate, you aren’t just a technician; you are an Employee-Owner whose craftsmanship and efficiency directly impact the success and value of our company.
Who is Locke Supply?
Locke Supply is 100% Employee-Owned (ESOP). We are the most progressive supply house in the Southwest, operating a 100-acre Distribution Center in Oklahoma City and supporting over 190 locations across six states. We are a premium supplier in the Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC markets, and we take pride in maintaining the facilities that make our business possible.
Your Role in Our Success
As a member of our in-house construction team, you play a critical role in our "Operational Excellence." Your work ensures our branches remain safe, professional, and capable of delivering “best-in-class" customer experience. By maintaining our corporate and retail facilities with accuracy and pride, you protect our assets and grow the value of our shared ESOP.
Responsibilities:
- Multi-Trade Mastery: Work hands-on with Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems. Whether it’s a branch remodel or facility repair, you bring a commitment to quality that reflects our brand standards.
- Operational Support: Partner daily with our branches to ensure they are equipped to provide outstanding customer experience.
- Growth Mindset: We value "Learning Agility." While experience is great, we are looking for individuals who want to master new skills and seek advancement opportunities within our growing company.
- Ownership Mentality: Understand that your productivity and the quality of your work directly influence the company’s bottom line and your own retirement wealth through the ESOP.
Requirements:
- A clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check, D.O.T. Physical, Drug Test, and physical job duty test.
- Trade Skills: Experience in Carpentry, Woodworking, Electrical, or HVAC/Plumbing is helpful, but a passion for learning and a strong work ethic are most important.
- Flexibility: Willingness to handle mandatory overtime (average 6-10 hours/week) and travel overnights as needed to support our 190+ locations.
Benefits:
Because we are 100% Employee-Owned, your hard work pays you back in more ways than a standard paycheck.
- ESOP: Automatic participation in our wealth-building program where you earn stock in the company at no cost to you.
- Total Rewards: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Disability.
- Retirement: 401(k) options to complement your ESOP ownership.
- Travel Support: Hotel accommodation and food stipends provided for all overnight travel.
