Job Summary:

AdviniaCare Newport is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Assistant to join our team! As a Laundry Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our residents by meeting their laundry needs in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Meet the laundry needs of the facility, ensuring timely completion and delivery of adequate linen levels
• Ensure all laundry machinery and equipment are in safe and efficient working condition
• Maintain chemicals under safe conditions at all times
• Remove torn, worn, soiled linen or clothing from inventory
• Mend and iron as necessary
• Comply with privacy practices and protect residents’ health information
• Perform other duties assigned by the managerial team

Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Able to read and write
• Able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
