Caregiver Waterbury

Guardian Angels Homecare has immediate Caregiving position available in Waterbury Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm daily. The ideal candidate must be compassionate, reliable, a good communicator and experienced. Bilingual (Spanish) speaking preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Helping with bathing/personal care/grooming/dressing/undressing

• Support clients who can't move on their own/turning/positioning/transferring

• Monitor skin care/observation/treatment

• Ensure client receives their medication on time/Cues

• Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment/Making bed

• Laundry

• Meal Preparation/Planning according to client's restrictions/Feeding

• Grocery shopping/Errands/Accompany to medical appointments

• Socialization/Conversation/Emotional support

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year home care experience

• Authorized to work in the United States

• A valid driver's license and your own insured vehicle

• Able to do housework and cooking

• Hoyer lift experience is a plus

• Well-organized and reliable

• Excellent communication and people skills

• Must be able to read and write in English

• High school diploma or equivalent
