About This Role

The Manager of Center Operations oversees the planning, organization, implementation, coordination, and control of the childcare program. This includes making independent judgments and decisions, as delegated, related to policies, procedures, and faculty supervision. Operating under general supervision, the manager ensures the childcare program complies with institutional regulations and state childcare licensing provisions.



What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Implement and develop program policies and activities according to requirements.
  • Plan, schedule, and provide in-service training and evaluations for faculty.
  • Ensure the center and staff adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as licensing requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records for enrolled children, including their development, attendance, immunizations, and health; conduct program registration and manage waiting lists.
  • Regularly confer with parents to discuss their children's development.
  • Develop marketing campaigns for prospective families.
  • Prepare and maintain administrative and business reports and records.
  • Resolve issues encountered by staff.
  • Participate in marketing and recruiting events, including evenings and weekends.
  • Maintain a high-quality learning environment and ensure the well-being of children.


Requirements

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience teaching in an early learning environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 25-35 lbs.
  • Ability to walk, kneel, sit, and stand for long periods.


Nice To Haves

Desirable Qualifications
  • Knowledge of State licensing requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in E.C.E.
