Team Lead & Assistant Manager Car Wash - Jollyville Rd

The Wash Shop is hiring experienced, energetic leaders for its Bee Cave location. We are seeking candidates for Team Lead and Assistant Manager positions.

These are hands-on leadership roles for people who enjoy supporting a team, assisting customers, driving sales, and keeping daily operations running smoothly. Candidates will be considered for the appropriate position and pay level based on their leadership and operational experience.

Available Positions and Pay

• Team Lead: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Assistant Manager: Starting at $21.00 + per hour

What You’ll Do

• Help oversee daily site operations and employee workflow
• Lead, coach, and support team members throughout each shift
• Assist with employee training and development
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service
• Help customers select wash packages and membership options
• Promote unlimited memberships and support site sales goals
• Help resolve customer questions and concerns
• Monitor tunnel flow, safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency
• Support opening and closing procedures
• Help ensure employees follow safety requirements and company standards
• Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming location
• Lead by example through professionalism, urgency, and a positive attitude

Additional Assistant Manager Responsibilities

• Help manage scheduling and staffing coverage
• Monitor sales, memberships, labor, and customer-service performance
• Support cash handling, deposits, and reconciliation procedures
• Complete operational reports, checklists, and documentation
• Assist with inventory and supply controls
• Help address employee performance and operational concerns

What We’re Looking For

• Previous leadership, supervisory, customer-service, or sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to coach and motivate team members
• Comfortable recommending memberships and services to customers
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask during busy operations
• Dependable attendance and schedule flexibility
• Willingness to work alongside the team and assist wherever needed
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Experience in a car wash, retail store, restaurant, hospitality business, service center, or other fast-paced customer-facing operation is a plus.
