Afterschool Teacher

Birch Mountain Day School is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable After School Staff member to join our team.

This position is responsible for supervising school-age children, facilitating organized games and activities, supporting positive social interactions, and helping create a safe, engaging, and fun environment each afternoon. Responsibilities include leading structured indoor and outdoor play, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and building positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members. Candidates should enjoy working with children, be reliable, and be able to actively participate in games, activities, and outdoor play.

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Ability to lead activities and supervise children safely
• Must pass background check
• Reliable transportation
