Pay: $11/hr (starting rate; eligible for performance review increase)
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper to maintain cemetery grounds in a clean, respectful, and well-kept condition.
Responsibilities:
- Operate zero-turn mower for routine grass cutting
- Weed eat, edge, and maintain landscaping around headstones and walkways
- Pick up debris, trash, and fallen branches throughout the property
- Use blowers and other tools to keep grounds neat and presentable
- Assist with basic grounds maintenance such as leveling soil and light landscaping
- Follow safety guidelines when operating equipment
- Maintain a respectful and professional environment at all times
Requirements:
- Must have steel-toed boots
- Ability to work a full-time, consistent schedule (1st shift)
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be dependable and able to perform physical labor
