What You'll Do
- Maintains a positive, supportive relationship with each child and family, fostering open communication and cooperation.
- Develops and implements engaging, age-appropriate curriculum for our youngest learners.
- Ensures the physical safety and well-being of each child from arrival to departure, creating a secure and nurturing environment.
- Participates in regular training sessions to enhance professional development and program effectiveness.
- Ensures compliance with licensing requirements, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all.
Requirements
- Meets/exceeds licensing requirements including:
- High energy.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Positive, reliable work ethic
- Passionate about working with children
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations
- Proof of training (certificates), and/or experience in working with children
- Documentation of citizenship
- Background Check
- TB Test
Nice To Haves
- Hold CDA or other associate's degree or higher
- Current First Aid/CPR Certification
- Current Medication Administration Training (MAT)
