We are seeking a Traveling Business Office Manager to provide on-site business office leadership and support to skilled nursing facilities experiencing staffing gaps, turnover, or in need of process improvement. This role fills BOM vacancies, trains new hire BOMs, and supports billing, collections, authorizations, utilization review, and audit functions across assigned facilities — stabilizing operations and ensuring compliance before rotating to the next assignment.

What we are Looking For:
High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Business Office Manager in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting (required)
Hands-on experience with PCC (PointClickCare) required
Strong working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing, PDPM, authorizations, and managed care processes
Experience with UR processes, ISNP programs, and RFMS strongly preferred
Familiarity with resident trust fund regulations and unclaimed property compliance
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills; comfortable working independently with minimal onsite supervision
Strong communication and training/mentoring skills for working with rotating facility teams
Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including overnight/extended stays
Valid driver's license (if driving between assignments) and ability to pass background check/drug screening
Travel Requirement: Frequent travel to multiple skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) within an assigned region; assignments typically range from a few weeks to several months per location.
Background Screening Requirement:
This position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
