RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing customer service for policies, billing, claims, and general account support
- Supporting claims by taking key information, explaining next steps, and updating customers on status
- Collecting and entering accurate information into company systems/CRM
- Making sure requests are completed correctly and timely, following internal processes and compliance rules
- Handling policy and coverage questions (within assigned limits) and helping customers understand options
- Documenting interactions and maintaining clear, consistent case notes
- Resolving issues by troubleshooting problems and escalating when needed
- Maintaining professionalism and empathy, especially with customers in stressful situations
- Ask targeted questions to assess risk areas (auto, home, renters, umbrella, life, etc.) and gather accurate details.
- Recommend solutions based on the need, using clear explanations of benefits, tradeoffs, and pricing in plain language.
- Strong interest in a people-focused business and providing exceptional customer service with high communication volume via phone, text, and email.
- Previous experience in people-based business.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations and asking questions
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
