Caregiver for the Pinch/Elkview Area

Job Description:
Right at Home is seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to assist a bedbound, non-smoking elderly male client in the Pinch/Elkview area. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing total care and committed to ensuring the comfort, dignity, and well-being of the client.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting with all personal care needs (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
• Turning and repositioning to maintain comfort and prevent skin breakdown
• Utilizing a Hoyer lift safely for transfers
• Preparing simple, nutritious meals
• Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe environment
• Providing companionship and emotional support

Requirements:

• Experience with Hoyer lift required
• Previous experience with total assist or bedbound patients preferred
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
• Ability to work multiple shifts (daytime, evening, or weekend availability preferred)
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Must have own transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply
