\tResponsibilities
\tM13 Level B
\t- Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments
\t- Experience working with Quality Management System Policies and Procedures
\t- Working knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures and Specifications
\t- Overall working knowledge of production processes
\t- Good communication skills written and verbal
\t- Good computing skills
\t- Maintain certifications as required
\t- Follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies
\t- Verify that tools are qualified
\t- Prepare and maintain Quality records
\t- Work across equivalent or lower-level Inspector job codes as required
\tQualifications Required:
\t- Prompt and on time daily
\t- Ability to obtain all required training certifications and maintain certifications while on assignment
\t- Must be available to work any shift- 1st, 2ndand 3rdshift operations
\t- Available for periods of heavy overtime
\t- 5 years' experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection
\t- Blueprint reading experience
\t- MS Office and SAP experience
\t- Experience writing NCRs (Tags)
\tPreferred:
\tSAP experience
\t- Previous Client
\t- Boeing 737 Airframe/Fuselage Experience
\tInspector Testing Information:
\tAll inspectors regardless of direct or contract must obtain their stamp within a certain amount of days after their training. That is discussed during the initial training classes. See the written and practical testing information below:
\tHere is a list of the testing QA contractors are required to pass:
\tAssy. Sealing (written and practical)
\tPost Assy. Sealing (written and practical)
\tElectrical Bond and Ground – All Meters (written)
\tElectrical Bond Final Inspection (written and practical)
\tPrecision Measuring Tools (written and practical)
\tSkin Quality Inspection (written)
\tIn addition, they have classes that are given to them that they are tested on and must pass:
\tResearching and Creating an NCR in MES
\tSolid Rivet Inspection
\tBlind Fastener Inspection
\tHex-Drive Bolt Inspection
\tLockbolt Inspection
\tBolt and Nut Inspection
\tFastener Inspection on Composites
