Cable Technician
Job Description
We are seeking Cable Technicians to support upcoming projects by assisting lead technicians with structured cabling and terminations. This is a hands-on role focused on supporting installation and connectivity tasks within active job sites.
Key Responsibilities
Assist lead technicians with cable pulling, routing, and termination (copper and fiber).
Install and terminate network devices such as access points or related hardware.
Follow directions closely to ensure proper installation and labeling standards are met.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to site-specific protocols.
Communicate effectively with the lead technician and project team to complete daily objectives.
Requirements
Previous experience in cable pulling, termination, or related low-voltage work.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work early shifts and adapt to varying site requirements.
Must bring basic tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility vest, dust masks).
Dependability and ability to start on short notice.
Compensation
Pay Range: $21 - $30 per hour (based on experience and qualifications).
Some sites may require parking fees that are not reimbursed.
Additional Notes
Candidates must confirm their availability for early morning start times.
Technicians will primarily be assisting a lead, not running projects independently.
