Floor Technician

At Sunrise Nursing & Memory Care, we’re a skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional care in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. We’re looking for a reliable Floor Technician to help maintain our facility and ensure our residents feel at home.

Weekdays, Weekends 7am-3:30pm, Floor projects may need varying times of the day

• Perform floor care: wash, seal, wax, and buff floors throughout the facility

• Assist with basic maintenance: replace light bulbs, clean vents, windows, screens, etc.

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, restrooms, lounges, and high-traffic areas

• Maintain outdoor areas (sweep entrances, clean ash trays, hose out garbage cans)

• Clean and sanitize furnishings, surfaces, and equipment

• Follow daily assignments and safety procedures

• Perform emergency and routine housekeeping duties as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

• At least 1 year of floor tech or commercial housekeeping experience

• Ability to follow schedules, instructions, and safety guidelines

• Strong attention to detail and a team-player attitude
