Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, sort, count, and inspect incoming materials and supplies.
- Place materials and supplies on designated shelves or storage locations.
- Pull and issue materials based on requisitions or work orders.
- Assist with initiating replacement orders for materials as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory, stock, and material location records.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining stockroom areas.
- Press and insert PEM nuts onto parts as required.
- Follow established company quality procedures and ISO standards.
- Maintain accuracy and productivity while completing assigned tasks.
- Follow all safety and security procedures.
- Properly use equipment, tools, and materials.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing, stockroom, warehouse, or manufacturing office environment.
- Good general math skills.
- Ability to identify and work with color codes.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions and management direction.
- Dependable and able to complete work within required timelines.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the work area for extended periods.
- Approximately 75% of the workday may require standing or walking.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Candidate
A successful candidate will be organized, safety-conscious, productive, and comfortable working with inventory and materials in a manufacturing stockroom environment.
