Our client seeks a Senior Change Management Consultant to support change efforts tied to acquisitions and technology integrations. The role partners with M&A teams, IT, business leaders, and security to drive alignment, readiness, and adoption across people, process, and technology. The consultant will embed change practices into integration timelines, translate technical changes into clear user impacts, and lead communications, training, and adoption tracking for enterprise programs.

Rate: $60.00 to $70.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:- Partner with M&A, Information Security, IT, and business leaders to embed change management into acquisition and integration timelines.
- Assess change impacts across people, processes, and technology and identify risks related to system integrations, operating model changes, and cultural alignment.
- Identify stakeholders across parent and acquired entities, conduct readiness assessments, and facilitate check-ins to surface resistance, concerns, and adoption barriers.
- Develop and execute end-to-end communication plans that align with legal, technology, and security requirements.
- Translate technical changes into clear, user-focused impacts and prepare users for migrations and access changes while reinforcing security and compliance behaviors.
- Track adoption metrics and address resistance or usage gaps.
- Identify training needs, develop or coordinate end-user materials, role-based learning paths, and job aids aligned to integration milestones.
- Define and track change metrics such as readiness, sentiment, adoption, and engagement. Gather feedback and adjust strategies. Build repeatable playbooks.
- 4+ years of technology change management experience supporting technology transformations and system changes.
- 2+ years of PMO or program execution experience within or alongside a formal PMO structure.
- Enterprise-level change experience with ownership beyond communications only.
- Preferred: 2+ years of M&A or acquisition integration experience.
- Preferred: Prosci, ADKAR, or equivalent certification.
- Disqualifiers include training-only experience without execution ownership, communications-only backgrounds without impact assessments, readiness evaluation, and adoption accountability, no experience supporting technology or systems change, or experience limited to small-scale or single-team initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
