  • Treatment Plan Oversight: Author, review, and clinically sign off on Person-Centered Plans (PCPs) and treatment goals, ensuring they meet strict state Medicaid and managed care rules. [1, 2, 3, 4]
  • Multi-Disciplinary Leadership: Provide clinical consultation and guidance to the Qualified Professionals (QPs) and Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSS) on the care team to ensure alignment of interventions. [1]
  • Crisis Psychotherapy: Deliver immediate clinical triage, stabilization, and crisis psychotherapy during acute psychiatric or substance-related episodes. [1, 2]
  • Compliant Time-Tracking: Meticulously document all direct clinical encounters and therapeutic interventions in 15-minute billable increments matching H2021 code standards. [1]
  • Audit-Ready Documentation: Complete clinical progress notes, transition summaries, and discharge plans within [24 hours] of service delivery in accordance with state licensing board regulations. [1]
Required Qualifications
  • Licensure: Current, unrestricted active state license to practice independently as a mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, LCAS, or state-specific equivalents). Provisionally licensed applicants (e.g., LCSWA, LCMHCA) may be considered depending on agency supervisory capacity.
  • Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related human services field from an accredited university.
  • Logistics: Valid driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and an excellent driving record for community field travel.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Must successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background check, sex offender registry screening, and healthcare exclusion list verification (OIG). [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialized Training: Certified in specific evidence-based practices (such as TF-CBT, DBT, or motivational interviewing) and experienced with local Medicaid managed care authorization processes. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Compensation & Travel Reimbursement
  • Travel Reimbursement: This position requires travel within the community to meet clients where they are. The agency provides standard mileage reimbursement at the current IRS rate for all approved, job-related community transit and client visits. [1]
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Split work environment including an office clinical setting, remote telehealth capabilities, and mobile community-based field work (homes, shelters, community centers). [1]
