TRC is HIRING Laboratory Technician in White, GA!

Hours: 6:00am - 6:30pm (Monday - Friday, with Thursday off)

Pay: $23/hr

SUMMARY

This technician role supports product testing and certification by performing reliability and safety tests, operating laboratory equipment, following standard procedures, collecting data, and documenting results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Test Operations

Operate testing equipment for reliability, safety, and certification activities.

Follow standard procedures and certification requirements accurately.

Inspect products before and after testing and load or unload equipment as needed.

Track test progress, collect data, and perform basic analysis to inform the next steps.

Interface with equipment computers to monitor parameters and alarms.

Process Management

Follow established procedures and adapt methods when required.

Maintain records of testing activities, measurements, and product status.

Report findings and results to supervisors or engineers promptly.

Work with team members to support workflow and safe operations.

Safety and Compliance

Maintain a safe, organized workspace in accordance with environmental, health, and safety standards.

Wear required personal protective equipment and follow all safety procedures.

Document failed tests and escalate issues when required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, lab, or production environment.

Ability to lift 45 lbs frequently.

Ability to safely perform physical job duties, including occasional lifting of heavier materials, with reasonable accommodation as applicable.

Proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software.

High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.

Basic problem-solving and data analysis skills.

Ability to work effectively in teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Associates degree in science, engineering, or related technical field.

Experience with product reliability or certification testing.

Knowledge of manufacturing or testing processes.

Exposure to ISO-regulated or laboratory testing environments.

Familiarity with additional data analysis tools or software.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in a manufacturing or laboratory environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and automated equipment.

Frequent standing, walking, and material handling may be required.

Compliance with all safety policies and procedures is required.
