Activities Assistant

Eastbrook Healthcare Center is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing the recreational and social experiences of our residents. This position requires creativity, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping others engage in meaningful activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of recreational activities, including arts and crafts, games, fitness classes, and special events.
- Engage with residents to encourage participation in activities and foster a positive environment.
- Set up and take down activity spaces, ensuring they are clean and organized.
- Provide support to residents during activities, offering assistance as needed to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
- Collaborate with the Activities Coordinator to evaluate the success of activities and suggest improvements or new ideas for future programs.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment used in activities and assist with ordering or restocking as necessary.
- Document participation and gather feedback from residents to enhance program offerings.

Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay: $13/HR

• Part-Time Shifts

• Day Shift or Evening Shift

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience preferred

• A minimum of 1 year experience working in a Nursing Home Facility
