Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)


Assignment Details

• Location: DuBois, Pennsylvania, with floating to Clearfield and Brookville

• Provider Type: CRNA

• Specialty: Anesthesiology

• Start Date: September 21, 2026

• Assignment Length: 3–6 months with possible extension

• Positions Available: 1

• Coverage Needed: Full-Time

• Practice Setting: Hospital / Endoscopy Center

• Coverage Type: Scheduled – No Call


Compensation: $230/hr.


Schedule

• Primary Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM

• Vacation Coverage: 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

• Schedule coordinated with Chief CRNA

• No CRNA call required

• Occasional/rare late stay may be needed but is not required

• Provider will float between locations in DuBois, Clearfield, and Brookville


Patient Population / Volume

• Primarily adult patients

• Pediatric experience preferred but not required

• Approximately 40 anesthesia cases per day across the department, including endoscopy

• Individual CRNA volume varies by assignment

• Typical examples include 10–15 GI cases, 6–8 cystoscopies, or 3–4 general cases


Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services under anesthesiologist medical direction

• Work across hospital operating rooms and procedural areas

• Provide anesthesia for general surgical and specialty cases

• Participate in endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and cath lab anesthesia coverage as assigned

• Opportunity to perform regional blocks and epidurals if desired

• Trauma and cardiac cases are covered by staff CRNAs

Practice Environment

• 11 Operating Rooms

• 2 hospital GI suites

• 3 GI suites at a CRNA-led endoscopy center

• Bronchoscopy lab

• Cath lab

• Approximately 272 hospital beds


Support Staff

• Approximately 4 anesthesiologists per day

• Approximately 15–18 CRNAs per day

• No Anesthesiologist Assistants

• CRNAs practice under anesthesiologist medical direction

• Maximum supervision ratio of 4:1


Requirements

• NBCRNA Certification – Required

• Active Pennsylvania license – Required

• Willing to License: No

• Minimum 2 years of experience – Required

• ACLS – Required

• BLS – Required

• DEA – Required

• Cerner experience – Required

• Pediatric anesthesia experience – Preferred

• Vascular, neuro, and thoracic experience – Preferred


EMR

• Cerner – Required


Credentialing

• Estimated credentialing timeframe: Approximately 3–4 weeks

• Credentialing timeline depends on timely completion of all required documentation

• Orientation scheduled for the first day of the assignment


Additional Information

• No call requirement

• Provider must be comfortable floating between three locations

• OB experience is optional

• Trauma and cardiac cases are handled by staff CRNAs
