Nextiva
Scottsdale, AZ, US Full Time

Job Description

Job Description
Redefine the future of customer experiences. One conversation at a time.

At Nextiva, we're reimagining how businesses connect, bringing together customer experience and team collaboration on a single, conversation centric platform. Powered by AI, driven by human innovation.

Our culture is forward thinking, customer obsessed and built on the belief that meaningful connections drive better business outcomes. Whether it's through our signature Amazing Service®, the technology we create, or the experiences we cultivate, connection is at the core of who we are.

If you're ready to collaborate with incredible people, make an impact, and help businesses everywhere deliver truly amazing experiences, this is where you belong.

Location: This is an onsite role based at Nextiva's Scottsdale headquarters (9451 E. Via de Ventura, Scottsdale, AZ 85256). Working together onsite strengthens how we operate, enabling faster decisions, clearer communication, and stronger execution, so you can make a greater impact and move work forward with speed and clarity.

In-Office Expectation: This role is expected to work onsite four days per week. Specific scheduling and flexibility will be guided by your leader to support both team collaboration and individual productivity.

Nextiva is looking for an Instructional Designer & Learning Experience Manager to own the development and management of internal learning content. This is a hands-on builder role combining instructional design, content creation, product and GTM enablement, and LMS administration.

You'll take source material from SMEs, presentations, videos, and existing resources and turn it into clear, engaging digital learning. You'll also own the LMS and help bring structure to our existing learning library.

This role does not facilitate live training. We're looking for someone who has built learning experiences—not someone whose experience is primarily delivering training created by others.

What You'll Do

  • Build, update, and maintain digital learning courses, primarily using Articulate Rise / Articulate
  • Turn presentations, videos, SME input, and technical information into structured, easy-to-understand learning experiences
  • Create product resources, GTM guides, sales training content, one-pagers, knowledge checks, and other internal enablement materials
  • Own day-to-day LMS administration, including publishing, assignments, permissions, user support, data accuracy, and reporting
  • Organize the existing learning library and identify content that should be updated, consolidated, or retired
  • Partner with Legal and SMEs to maintain required compliance training
  • Keep learning content current as products, processes, and requirements change
  • Use learning data and feedback to identify gaps and improve content
  • Create or incorporate product and technology demonstrations into learning experiences

How You'll Use AI

We're looking for someone who sees AI as a practical part of how modern learning gets built.

  • Use ChatGPT, generative AI, and Articulate's AI capabilities to accelerate research, outlining, drafting, and content development
  • Use AI to help transform complex source material into clear learning content while applying your own judgment for accuracy and instructional effectiveness
  • Continuously explore ways AI can improve speed, consistency, and quality of learning development

What We're Looking For

  • Approximately 5 years of experience, with flexibility for the right candidate, in instructional design, learning experience design, corporate L&D, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience building courses from source material through final deployment
  • Strong experience with Articulate Rise / Articulate
  • Experience owning or heavily administering an LMS
  • Strong instructional design, writing, and content-development skills
  • Ability to simplify technical and product concepts for internal audiences
  • Strong technical aptitude and comfort learning unfamiliar systems
  • Resourceful and self-sufficient, you can work from an outcome without needing a detailed playbook
  • Organized, collaborative, and comfortable working across multiple SMEs and priorities
  • Comfortable using generative AI as part of your content-development workflow

Nice to Have

  • Technology or SaaS experience.
  • Docebo experience.
  • Sales or product enablement experience.
  • Vyond and video creation experience.
  • Compliance training experience.
  • Jira experience.
  • Experience creating product or technology demos.

Who You Are

You're a builder who can take raw information and turn it into an effective learning experience. You're technically curious, organized, and comfortable figuring things out independently. You move quickly, collaborate well with SMEs, and naturally look for ways to use AI and technology to make your work better.

Nextiva helps businesses create exceptional customer experiences and build deeper relationships for growth through a unified, trusted, and modern platform that leverages AI and automation.

Location & In-Office Expectation

This role is based at Nextiva's Scottsdale headquarters, 9451 E. Via de Ventura, Scottsdale, AZ 85256, and is expected to work onsite five days per week. Specific scheduling and flexibility will be guided by your leader to support team collaboration and individual productivity.
