Material Handler
Location: Wilson, NC
Pay: $14.00/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable Material Handlers to support daily manufacturing and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for moving materials, supplying production areas, organizing inventory, and helping ensure materials are available when needed.
The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, physically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Move raw materials, components, finished products, and other materials throughout the facility.
  • Supply production areas with required materials and supplies.
  • Load, unload, stage, and organize materials as directed.
  • Verify materials and quantities against work orders, labels, or production requirements.
  • Maintain organized storage and production areas.
  • Assist with receiving, inventory movement, and material handling activities.
  • Safely operate material-handling equipment when authorized and trained.
  • Follow established procedures for material movement and storage.
  • Inspect materials for visible damage or discrepancies and report issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or material-handling experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
  • Willingness to work the assigned shift.
  • Forklift or other material-handling equipment experience is a plus.
Physical & Work Environment
  • Position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift and move materials throughout the workday.
  • Work may involve exposure to manufacturing equipment, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
  • Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position.
Available Shifts
1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM
Pay: $14.00/hour
Multiple openings are available across all three shifts.
