Job Summary:
The HR Associate will play a key role in supporting the human resources functions of our skilled nursing facility here at Lexington Premier Nursing & Rehab. This position involves assisting with recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Office setting within a skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist with recruiting efforts, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process. o Maintain and update job descriptions and employee handbooks.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts in a fair and consistent manner. o Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave of absence.
- Assist employees with benefits-related questions and issues.
- Coordinate with benefits providers and manage open enrollment periods.
- Compliance and Record-Keeping:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including timekeeping and attendance.
- Assist with audits and reporting as needed.
- Training and Development:
- Support ongoing training and development initiatives for staff.
- Track and manage training records and certifications.
- General HR Support:
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Maintain HR databases and prepare reports on HR metrics.
- Collaborate with management to support facility goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Previous experience in an HR role, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing environment. • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software systems.
