Title: Inside Sales / Order Processor
Pay: $25-$26, based on experience
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7am – 3:30pm
Location: Twinsburg
Experience: 2+ years of inside sales experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial sales. Ability to understand technical drawings. Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems.
Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented inside sales representative and order processor to support metal fabrication sales operations. This role is responsible for managing customer inquiries, preparing accurate quotes, supporting production coordination, and building long-term relationships with OEMs, contractors, and industrial customers. The ideal candidate has experience in metal fabrication, understands technical drawings, and thrives in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchasing materials and products needed for orders.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and purchasing to confirm feasibility and delivery schedules
- Enter sales orders and maintain customer, pricing, and job data in CRM/ERP systems
- Support outside sales representatives with quoting, order tracking, and customer communication
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding lead times, changes, and delivery status
- Track sales pipeline, win/loss data, and forecast activity
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries and conduct outbound follow-ups with customers
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of inside sales experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial sales
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes (laser cutting, bending, welding, machining, etc.)
- Understanding of materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and alloys
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems (JobBOSS, Epicor, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience quoting custom fabrication or job-shop work
- Familiarity with ISO or quality-controlled manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of pricing structures, margins, and cost drivers in metal fabrication
