Dietary Aide
Job Description
Vivo Healthcare-Gateway is seeking a dependable and compassionate Part-Time Dietary Aide to join our dietary services team in a 120-bed long-term care facility. This role is essential in helping ensure our residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with meal preparation, tray assembly, and meal service
Following dietary restrictions and resident meal plans
Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
Assisting with dishwashing and kitchen cleanup
Working cooperatively with dietary staff and nursing teams
Qualifications:
Ability to pass a Level 2 background check (required)
Long-term care experience preferred, but not required
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Compassionate attitude toward elderly residents
