Summary: Program Compliance Staff is responsible for protecting our premises, assets and personnel. Program Compliance Staff will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.When you work at the House of Hope, no matter what department, you are helping to provide HOPE for men, women and children facing homelessness by sharing the love of Christ with them. Would you like to join our team?Responsibilities: Responsibilities for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environmentObserve for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbancesAct lawfully in direct defense of life or propertyEvict violatorsTake accurate notes of unusual occurrencesReport in detail any suspicious incidentsPatrol randomly or regularly building and perimeterMonitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gatesWatch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipmentPerform first aid or CPRSkillsProven work experience as a security guard or other relevant positionTrained in deescalationAbility to operate detecting systems and emergency equipmentExcellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocolsSurveillance skills and detail orientationIntegrity and professionalismHigh school degreeReligious Qualifications:Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ demonstrated through a profession of faith.Actively participate in and remain in good standing with a local Christian church.Support and uphold the mission, values, and Christian principles of House of Hope of the Pee Dee.Demonstrate spiritual maturity, integrity, humility, and compassion.Have a passion for serving individuals experiencing homelessness and hardship.Be willing to pray with, encourage, and share the Gospel with residents, guests, volunteers, and staff when appropriate.Exhibit Christian conduct consistent with Biblical principles both professionally and personally.This is a third-shift position!
