Job Description:

Little People Learning Center is seeking caring, reliable, and qualified early childhood professionals to join our team. Candidates must meet Connecticut Office of Early Childhood (OEC) requirements for their respective positions. We are looking for dedicated individuals who can provide a nurturing environment for our children to thrive.

Position 1: ECE Qualified Staff Member (QSM)

Pay Rate:

• Very competitive
• Based on experience, education, and qualifications
• We offer a generous compensation package that reflects your skills and qualifications
• CDA, 12 ECE credits, or equivalent per OEC regulations
• Previous experience in a licensed childcare setting is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Curriculum implementation
• Creating a safe and engaging classroom environment
• Supporting children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth
• Ensuring compliance with documentation and licensing requirements

Signing Bonus:

• $300 paid after 90 days of continuous employment
• The bonus is repayable if employment ends before six months

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging curriculum activities
• Establish a warm and inclusive classroom environment
• Support children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• CPR
• Must meet CT OEC Qualified Staff Member requirements
• CDA, 12 ECE credits, or equivalent per OEC regulations
• Previous experience in a licensed childcare setting is a plus
