Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, menus, and nutritional guidelines

• Ensure food is cooked to proper temperatures and handled safely to prevent contamination

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards

• Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed

• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and execute special events and meals

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and colleagues

• Maintain accurate records of food preparation, inventory, and customer feedback

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire

• Prior experience in a food service or culinary role preferred

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
