About the Role:

As a Special Education Teacher (Early Intervention) at All About Kids, Inc., you will play a vital role in our early intervention program, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide individualized education and therapy services to young children. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping these children develop essential skills, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. As an NY State Certified Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of children, from infancy to age 5, in a variety of settings, including home, center-based, and preschool environments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, therapists, and other team members

• Provide specialized instruction to children with developmental delays, including those with autism, Down syndrome, and other disabilities

• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring to measure student growth and development

• Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support

• Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders to ensure continuity of care and support

• Participate in staff development opportunities to stay current with best practices and industry advancements
