Production Team-Line Leader

Description:

• Setting up line for production run
• Completing paperwork related to work orders and food safety
• Testing chocolate for temper
• Ensuring that line and equipment have been properly cleaned and free of allergen contamination
• AWEMA One-Shot machine operation – The One-Shot deposits a filling inside a shell of chocolate. Responsibilities includes disassembling, washing and reassembling the machine, learning a computerized menu of options, monitoring and troubleshooting
• Selmi/Enrober operation – tempers chocolate
• DoBoy Wrapper operation – wraps chocolate products
• Supervising team to ensure all raw materials are in place, equipment is ready and production goals are achieved

Training and oversight is provided for all job duties.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be managing a production team of between 4 and 10 associates. The position requires an individual with several attributes, including:

• -Strong character and integrity
• -Ability to lead and direct teams
• -Familiarity with mechanical applications
• -Familiarity with MS Office is a plus
• -Solid math, reading and comprehension skills
• -Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• -Self-starter
• -Self-motivated
• -Able to perform in high-stress situations -Flexibility with schedule: Starting early/leaving late
• -Maintain production output goals
• -Team player

Job Duties:

Set up line for production run which includes:

* Melting Chocolate

* Filling Melters (lift chocolate buckets of 50+ pounds)

* Move Melters & equipment into place

* Complete paperwork (work orders & food safety)

* Test chocolate for temper

* Ensure line and equipment are properly cleaned and free of allergen contamination

* AWEMA One-Shot machine operation - The One-Shot deposits a filling inside a shell of chocolate. Resp[onsibilities include disassembling, washing and reassembling the machine, learning a computerized menu of options, monitoring and troubleshooting

* Selmi/Enrober operation - tempers chocolate

* DoBoy Wrapper operation - wraps chocolate products

* Supervise team to ensure all raw materials are in place, equipment ready and production goals achieved in a timely manner

* Clear pallets of finished product

* Move pallets to metal detection area
