About the Role

Join the Jennifer Paris State Farm Agency as an Insurance Account Associate. This role is built for a high-activity, fast-paced environment where you’ll primarily reach out by phone to prospective customers - to generate appointments, gather information, and transition prospective customers into policyholders.

This position is a great fit for someone with prior sales experience (highly preferred), who is comfortable cold calling and following a structured sales process. While prior insurance experience is not required, you must be willing to obtain and maintain the required Colorado licensing and learn State Farm products quickly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact prospective customers for conversations based on agency scripts to understand their goals and protection need
  • Quickly assess the customer’s needs and recommend next steps
  • Gather basic applicant information accurately and efficiently
  • Use objection handling and consultative questioning to keep conversations moving toward conversion
  • Schedule and coordinate follow-ups to maximize lead conversion
  • Manage the sales process from first contact through quote, application, and onboarding steps
  • Maintain organized records of calls, lead status, and customer information
  • Participate in training to build product knowledge and insurance proficiency
  • Obtain and maintain required Colorado Property & Casualty (P&C), Life and Health licensing (and pursue additional licensing/certifications as required)
  • Meet or exceed activity and performance goals (calls, qualified leads, appointments, conversions)
What We’re Looking For

  • Prior sales experience highly preferred (call center sales, outbound B2C, inside sales, appointment setting, or similar)
  • Comfortable with a high-volume cold calling environment and fast-paced expectations
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly
  • Strong organization and attention to detail when entering lead/customer information
  • Motivated, resilient, and able to handle rejection while staying productive
  • Must be able to obtain a Colorado Property & Casualty (P&C), Life and Health license (required)
  • Willing to pursue additional licensing/certifications as needed
  • Desire to learn insurance and grow within a supportive, performance-based team
  • Bi-Lingual (Spanish), not required

  • We’re obsessed with ongoing improvement and ethical growth
  • Training and development to help you become licensed and effective quickly
  • Lead generation support and a team focused on helping you succeed
  • Competitive pay plus performance bonuses in a role designed for people who love to sell
