A.R. Mazzotta is partnering with a growing precision manufacturer in the Deep River / Essex area to hire a Senior Quality Specialist. This direct hire position offers up to $40.00 per hour, overtime opportunities, long-term stability, and the opportunity to grow into a future leadership role within the Quality department.

What You'll Be Doing
  • As a Senior Quality Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring product quality throughout the manufacturing process—from incoming materials through final inspection—while helping drive continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Responsibilities include:
  • Perform incoming, in-process, first article, and final inspections
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T
  • Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools
  • Investigate nonconforming materials and create Nonconformance Reports (NMRs)
  • Perform capability studies and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain quality documentation and inspection records
  • Enter and manage quality data within ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Assist with receiving inspections and material identification
  • Coordinate material movement within the Quality department
  • Work closely with Production and Engineering to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed
  • Travel approximately 20% to suppliers and customers, including occasional domestic and international travel
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
  • 4+ years of Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience performing dimensional and visual inspections
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
  • Experience with nonconforming material processes and quality documentation
  • ERP experience required (SAP preferred)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel
  • Associate degree in a technical field preferred, or equivalent manufacturing quality experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Forklift experience is a plus
