Reports To: Parts and Service Director, Asst. Service Manager.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Summary:
The Porter is responsible for the safe movement of customer vehicles. Cleaning the vehicles. Assisting Service staff as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Move vehicles to and from service lanes, parking areas, and other dealership locations.
· Clean vehicles inside and out, which includes vacuuming, washing, and ensuring that the cars are presentable for customers.
· May also perform light maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels.
· Keep the lot and service areas clean, safe, and well-organized.
· Dispose of debris and maintain general dealership cleanliness.
· Other job duties as assigned.

FLSA Status Clarification:
This position is classified as Non-Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is therefore eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 in a workweek. The employee is entitled to meal and rest breaks in accordance with applicable state and federal labor laws.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work independently and follow verbal or written instructions.
- Basic communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission is a plus.
Work Environment:
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather condition
- Fast-paced dealership setting
