We are currently seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Nexus of Alton in Alton, IL. As a Housekeeper at Nexus of Alton, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our facilities, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for our patients, residents, and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing duties such as cleaning patient rooms, common areas, and equipment
• Restock linens, toiletries, and supplies as needed
• Empty trash and recyclables, and maintain a clean and sanitary environment
• Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens
• Perform special cleaning projects as assigned
• Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience; previous experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting is desired (n/a)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Familiarity with infection control principles and practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
