Caregiver, Night Shifts (Live-Out)

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 10 PM to 6 AM ( 8-hour shifts)

Start Date: September 21st

Compensation: $40-$45 per hour

Overview

A lovely, warm couple is seeking a Caregiver for night shifts at their home in Greenwich. The Mr.'s safety and well-being are the primary focus of this role during the nighttime hours. The right candidate is calm, observant, and physically able to support a male client with Parkinson's in a home setting. CNA certification is strongly preferred. The candidate must understand fall risk, mobility support, transfer protocols, and how to recognize when a situation requires outside help.

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as a steady, present caregiver during evening hours, attentive without being intrusive

• Assist with safety during the evening hours: mobility support, fall prevention, and supervision

• Medication reminders and basic health monitoring

• Assist with personal care as needed (dressing, bathing support)

• Know when to escalate; using calm judgment in an emergency is essential

• Communicate regularly with the Mrs. regarding the client’s condition and status

Candidate Profile

• CNA or equivalent experience strongly preferred

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record

• Calm, steady presence; not chatty or intrusive as the principal values quiet

• Genuine warmth and patience with older adults
