We are looking for fun, outgoing and creative personalities to provide high level service to our Members and their guests for events of all sizes.


You will serve our members & guests with the following qualities:

Duties and responsibilities

  • Uphold the highest level of service for our Members and their guests.
  • Setup, execute and break down numerous types of banquet functions including:
  • Setting spaces including linens, china, silverware, and glassware.
  • Banquet service including taking beverage orders, serving, and clearing.
  • Closing functions such as bussing and resetting spaces for the next function.
  • Attends staff meetings including pre-service (line-up) sessions.
  • Understands content and follows through with information on Banquet Event Orders (BEO) as it pertains to the scheduled event.
  • Greets Members and guides them through service, understanding steps of service for all banquet events.
  • Works as a “Team” with both Banquet and A La Carte staff, to anticipate and go above and beyond for our Members. Helping our team to reach common goals.
  • Adherence to set quality, consistency, and efficiency expectations and standards.
  • Consistently follows all food safety related requirements.
  • Communicates any additional changes to Food and Beverage Manager(s) and back of house leader as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned by Event Coordinator and Banquet Captain.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Previous waitstaff or hospitality experience.
  • Ability to work quickly and as a team in a face-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working a variety of shifts including holidays and weekends.
  • Proof of Hep A vaccination is required.
  • Certificate of State of Missouri Alcohol Responsibility Training (SMART) required if of legal age to serve alcohol.


Working conditions

Restaurant setting in hot, humid, and noisy environment.


Physical requirements

  • Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stains, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist to reach.
  • Push, pull or lift to 50 pounds.
  • Continuous repetitive motions
